Caskets

We offer a large selection of traditional funeral caskets and containers designed to meet the needs of cremation and burial requests. All wooden caskets and containers are suitable for services involving cremation as a means of final disposition.

All of our caskets and containers have been personally-selected by our staff, so that we can provide a range of products that meet both the need for quality and affordability that is reflected in the broad requirements of the families we serve.

The prices of a casket vary substantially. Four main categories are used to determine the value of a funeral casket. They are broken down as follows:
wooden casket

 

  1. Metal/Wood Species (High to Low) Mahogany, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Pecan, Oak, Poplar, Pine, Select Wood, Bronze, Copper, Stainless Steel, 16 GA, 18 GA, 20 GA. GA= Gauge, the thickness of the metal
  2. Amount of Material Required – Amount of board feet used based of the size/thickness of the casket.
  3. Interior (High to Low) – Velvet, Crepe, Satin, Rayon. Full interior vs half interior. Adjustable bed vs wood fiber.
  4. Craftsmanship/Features – Type of finish, fine detail touches

 

All of our cremation containers and all wooden casket selections are proudly Canadian made and furnished by Niagara Cremation Products of Welland, Northern Casket of Lindsay, Ontario and Victoriaville Casket of Victoriaville, Quebec.

Rental Casket

This casket is designed exclusively for cremation based services.

The insert has a fixed interior and pillow that are new each time of used.

A lid is placed onto the insert when it's removed from the casket and transferred to the crematorium.
